BJP questions AK Antony's silence, alleges son's role in Solar Scam

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 13 (UNI) Kerala BJP Unit President Kummanam Rajasekharan today questioned the silence of senior Congress leader AK Antony in the controversial sex-cum-bribe 'Solar Scam' alleging that his son was involved in the case.
Terming the 'Solar Scam' as the biggest sex-cum-bribe scandal that has 'shocked' the nation, Mr Kummanam in a release here, demanded the formation of a 'Special Court' for the trial of 'solar scam' in which many senior Congress leaders were allegedly involved.
Demanding a probe into Congress MLA VT Balram's revelation that 'Solar Case' was the result of 'adjustment politics' played by the Congress leaders with the CPI-M to settle the controversial T. P. Chandrasekharan murder case, the BJP President said he will file a complaint before the DGP seeking the questioning of the MLA in this regard.
The BJP President, who led the Janaraksha Yatra which entered Kottayam district yesterday, also urged the Congress leaders to disclose details of the 'political dealings' with the CPI-M to sabotage the T.P Chandrasekharan murder case and asked the MLA to show courage to stand with his disclosure.
Meanwhile, the Congress leadership, which was embarrassed over the MLA's statement, denied the allegation. Earlier, the CPI(M)-led LDF had decided to file criminal cases against the accused in the solar scam.
Mr Balram also alleged that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had initiated a 'political witch- hunt' against Congress leaders in the state when the BJP launched a 'Congress-free India' campaign at the National level.
