Ambala, Apr 30 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal, on the conclusion of his two-day visit to the twin cities of Ambala, today said that BJP, by winning with majority in 16 states of the country, had made its identity on the world level. This became possible due to coordination and uniformity in the government and the Organisation and the governments could have better results for the implementation of development schemes and projects. He said the BJP organisation gave preference to result-oriented schemes, instead of individual-based decisions. Through the organisation, the ruling party could reach the last person in the remotest area by introducing and implementing the development programmes. These views were expressed by the CM, who held closed door meetings with BJP workers from both the Assembly constituencies, advising them to go the people to convey the message of progress and development made in Haryana during the last 30 months of BJP government. In these meetings, where the workers had got opportunity to illicit their views about the working of the government, expressed that till now, the officials from the district administration had not been responsive, whenever they met them with the problems of people. Some of the workers were even critical of the indifferent behavior of the officers, when they had gone to them with complaints. They were critical of the police department, who on receiving the complaints from the aggrieved, delayed the registration of FIR or didn't do that till the matter had gone to the higher authorities. The workers had brought to the notice of the CM, the inordinate delay in disposing off the complaints made at the Chief Minister's Window. They pointed out that in some cases, the replies were sent without redressing the grievances of the aggrieved person. The workers mentioned some of the scandals including the Tatipur fake tehsil in Madhaya Pradesh, from where numerous land registration were made in connivance with the tehsil officials. The matter had not been decided, although it was taken up by the investigating agencies. Dustbin scandal by the officers of Panchayat department, non-settlement of loan cases of sugarcane producers linked with sugar mill Banondi Naraingaarh in which crores of rupees were due to the farmers. The workers also raised the problems of crop burning due to flames through irritation of feederlines and held the Bijli Nigam doe poor maintenance of power lines. The CM held meeting with the residents of Ambala Cant, where representatives of people met him at the Circuit House and had praised the government for introducing a number of development projects to give relief to the people for the first time in the history of the town. Whereas, the CM had held road show at Ambala City yesterday, but Meet the People, an event scheduled to be held at an open darbar in Kumari Rukmani Devi Hall was cancelled, leaving the residents in the lurch.
