BJP Mahila Morcha's 375-km race from Gwalior to Delhi marks Vijayaraje Scindia's Birth Centenary Year celebrations

New Delhi, Oct 16 (UNI)The Mahila Shashaktikaran daud (Women Empowerment Race) from Gwalior to Delhi to mark the birth centenary year celebrations of the party’s first President Vijayaraje Scindia, culminated at the Talkatora Stadium here on Tuesday to a warm welcome by several BJP leaders.
The October 12-16 race was organised by BJP's Mahila Morcha and led by its President Vijaya Rahatkar.
Addressing BJP women wing volunteers and over 100 runners who completed the 375-km long distance in five days, Union Textiles Minister Smriti Irani said the race had succeeded in taking from door to door the works of the Narendra Modi government for the welfare and uplift of women in the country.
