Patna, Oct 28 (UNI) A delegation of BJP on Thursday lodged a complaint with Election Commission demanding immediate cancellation of nomination of RJD candidate Arun Shah of Tarapur assembly seat and registration of case against him for using photos of BJP leaders of a particular community through pamphlets and handbills to create confusion among the voters in the by-elections.
Poling is scheduled to be held in Tarapur on October 30.
A delegation of BJP leaders comprising state convener of Election Commission of the party Radhika Raman, state BJP vice president Siddharth Shambhu and others lodged a complaint with the office of the Chief Electoral Officer of Bihar, alleging that RJD candidate of Tarapur seat Arun Shah had issued pamphlets and handbills using photos of BJP leaders including Deputy Chief Minister Tarkishore Prasad and another Minster Pramod Kumar.
