BJP leading in panchayat poll in Assam

Guwahati, Dec 12 (UNI) In the panchayat polls in Assam ruling BJP is leading followed by Congress in the second position.
In Gaon Panchayat ward BJP has won 481 seats followed by Congress in 294. BJPs ally AGP could manage to win only 115 seats.
In Gain Panchayat President BJP has won 33 while Congress has won 20 seats.
