BJP leaders come down heavily on Mamata

Kolkata, Jan 19 (UNI) Taking a jibe at Mamata's meeting with Opposition leaders, BJP leader Mukul Roy on Saturday said, " West Bengal is again witnessing a circus under Mamata’s rule similar to what Jyoti Basu had started. Various jokers and lying artists coming together to destroy India again. "
BJP general secretary Rahul Sinha tweeted, “ All corrupt leaders are united to fight only @narendramodi ji and yes India is firmly behind him to fight against this gang of corrupt leaders and anti nationals. ”
Union Minister of state for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Babul Supriyo said, ' It's a rally of unity of corrupt leaders. Kolkata will witness a show of hypocrisy today. It is an unholy alliance of political parties for personal survival. '
In a series of tweets, Mr Supriyo said, “ By putting the traffic standstill & harassing the general public, TMC wants to stand up for the state’s welfare? How ironical! I urge all to share their today's traffic woes. ”
' TMC has a large fund base for the rally but not for the state? Kolkata will witness a show of hypocrisy today, ' he commented.
The union minister said, ' The people are aware & can see that the only thing didi has given is big posters & nothing else. '
' The TMC government in West Bengal has left democracy in a shambles by not allowing campaigns of Opposition parties in desired form. How long can we let a government and its whimsical CM abuse democracy? ” Mr Supriyo said.
“ Over 44 BJP workers killed and several others injured by TMC goons over the years they have been in power. They’ve remained in power for so long, but at what cost? Is politics bigger than human lives? ' he questioned.
“ All of them have come together. Let me tell u what that is 'Chori hone do, Bhrastachaar chalne do, Jo loot chal raha thha 70 Saal se wohi chalne do, blah blah', ” Mr Supriyo said.
“ Won’t name any1 but plz count the corrupt/tainted Faces on Stage, ” he added.
