BJP group clash leaves 8 injured in Tripura

Agartala, Sept 19 (UNI) At least eight people, including two policemen, were injured in a group clash during inauguration of an office of agriculture department at Silacharri under Karbok sub-division of Gomati district today this afternoon.
Both the groups clashed with each other in presence of agriculture minister Pranajit Singharoy.
Police said two local BJP leaders Malay Dewan and Kamal Dewan have been in fight since long. Kamal Dewan was against the nomination of incumbent MLA Burbu Mohan Tripura. And earlier also this group agitated and assaulted the MLA over some local issues.
