BJP grandsire Gaur mulling Cong offer

Bhopal, Jan 24 (UNI) Dropping a political bombshell, Madhya Pradesh’s opposition Bharatiya Janata Party stalwart and erstwhile chief minister Babulal Gaur averred on Thursday that he is considering a Congress offer for contesting from Bhopal parliamentary constituency.
“Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh visited my residence on December 18 and voiced the proposal. At that juncture I pointed out that I have served as legislator for no less than ten terms besides having shouldered chief ministerial and ministerial responsibilities. I have no wish. Mr Singh subsequently left,” he told UNI over phone.
