Puducherry,Nov 27(UNI)Former Puducherry chief minister V Narayansamy has charged that the BJP government at the centre is trying to stall the functioning of the Rangasamy led government in the union territory, it was reported on Saturday.
In a video clip sent to the media here on Friday night, Narayansamy said Rangasamy should know that the Modi government is not concerned with the welfare of the people of Puducherry. Mr Rangasamy has totally ‘surrendered’ to the BJP at the centre with the aim to remain in power, he said.
Demanding Rs10,000 each for the ration card holders in Puducherry and Karaikal regions of the union territory as part of rain relief, Narayansamy said several announcements of the chief minister such as Rs10,000 as salary to voucher employees,10 kg free rice and two kg sugar for Diwali for all ration card holders have remained just announcements, with no concrete action in the ground. He has sought Rs 300 crores towards rain relief which the centre in yet to respond to, he added.
