BJP govt in Karnataka deliberately spoiling environment in border areas: Patole

Mumbai, Dec 7 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party government in Karnataka is deliberately spoiling the environment in the border areas and Marathi people are being beaten up and their property is being damaged. The people of Maharashtra will not tolerate the bullying by Karnataka, Maharashtra has taken a stand of restraint but if we lose our restraint, Karnataka and the central government will have to bear the consequences. Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee president Nana Patole said that it is a conspiracy of the BJP to break and divide Maharashtra by instigating the border issue.
Talking to reporters at Tilak Bhavan, Mr Patole criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party, adding that the attacks by Karnataka in the border areas are serious and we condemn these cowardly attacks. On the instructions of the Modi government at the centre and some industrialists, Karnataka is making such claims. In fact, when there is a dispute between two states, the central government should intervene and resolve it amicably, but it does not seem to be happening in this case,he said.
Karnataka Chief Minister Bommai is making inflammatory statements every day but there is no response from the Maharashtra government. The situation is such that people are questioning whether there is a government in Maharashtra or not.
