BJP goes in full election mode after national executive
Lucknow, Jun 15 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) in Uttar Pradesh have gone on full election mode after the successful national executive meeting at Allahabad on June 12-13 as the Party president has chalked out intensive interaction meetings within a fortnight. The state party unit will also organise a state executive meeting within next 20 days to accelerate the campaign launched with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally on June 13 in Allahabad. However, state party unit chief and Phulpur MP Keshav Prasad Maurya is all set to release his new state committee very soon with announcing the date and venue of the state executive. However, party sources said that there are several places to be considered for the state executive with some leaders asking it to be held in Agra or Aligarh while some are in opinion to organise it in Bundelkhand or in Eastern UP. Sources said that the announcement of the party state executive and its maiden meeting could also be made this evening. Meanwhile, BJP president Amit Shah will continue his interaction with the booth level chairpersons started from Kanpur on June 4 with holding meetings with the booth level activists of Bundelkhand and Kanpur region. Later he also addressed the booth level chairpersons of Braj and Bareilly region at Kasganj on June 7. According to the schedule, on June 27, Mr Shah will interact with the booth level chairmans of the Awadh region followed by the same in Meerut on June 30 where he will address the chairmans of the western UP. In Gorakhpur, the BJP president will interact with the booth level chairpersons on July 1 and on the next day he will do the same in Kashi region. UP BJP spokesperson Vijay Bahadur Pathak said here today that by holding these booth level interactive session, the party president will aware the ground level workers about the party's ideology and basics in view of the coming assembly polls in the state.
