BJP fields RN Singh for biennial elections to Mah State Legislative Council

New Delhi, May 31 (UNI) The BJP has announced to field Mr RN Singh for the biennial elections to the State Legislative Council(MLC) of Maharashtra.
Mr Singh's name was finalised by the BJP Central Election Committee.
The party had announced the list of six candidates of three states yesterday .
It fielded Bhupendra Singh and Dayashankar Singh from Uttar Pradesh, Vinod Naryan Jha from Bihar, and Pravin Darekar, Sada Bhau, and Vinayak Mete from the state.

New Delhi, Dec 11 (UNI) In a major setback to the ruling BJP ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the saffron party on Tuesday lost power in the three Hindi heartland states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh while the TRS retained power in the South Indian state of Telangana and the congress lost in its Northeast bastion of Mizoram.
