Agartala, Dec 31 (UNI) The BJP Tripura state committee has expelled four leaders including office bearers in Unokoti district for indiscipline and anti-party activities, last night.
The party spokesperson Nabendu Bhattacharjee said that the party had gathered detailed information about the anti-party activities of Gyandip Chakma, president of 'Jana Jati Morcha' in Unokoti district, general secretary Shubham Chakma, district committee member, Nirmal Nama and vice-president of 'Juba Morcha' Niranjan Nama.
In a statement he said the decision to expel the party workers and leaders had been approved by the BJP's state president Biplab Kumar Deb following all procedures and norms and careful examination of reports.
