BJP demands transparency, accountability in Vimal Negi case in Himachal

Shimla, June 6 (UNI): BJP State General Secretary Sanjeev Katwal on Saturday accused the Congress government of shielding those responsible for alleged irregularities in the Vimal Negi case and demanded complete transparency and accountability in light of revelations emerging from the ongoing investigation.
Addressing mediapersons after a BJP meeting held at Deep Kamal in Chakkar here on Saturday, Katwal said information recently brought into the public domain and findings reportedly placed before the court by the investigating agency had raised serious concerns about the functioning of the state administration.
He alleged that reports relating to fake completion certificates, manipulation of official records and decisions taken in violation of established procedures had cast a shadow on the credibility of the governance system.
