BJP committed to maintaining religious tolerance and harmony: MP CM

Bhopal, Jun 21 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Public Relations and Energy Minister Rajendra Shukla today said the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state is committed to maintaining an atmosphere of religious tolerance and harmony.
“Cultural nationalism and its traditions would be preserved at all costs. Having trust and faith in Vedic culture and Sanatan tradition is a bounden duty of not only the BJP but the whole society and to fulfill it is our religion and duty,” said Mr Shukla in a statement issued here over recent controversy over priests at temples and other religious shrines.
He lamented that certain alleged disruptive forces are spreading disinformation against Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan that he has made some comments against priests.
