BJP central leaders coming on Sept 16 to address the coalition rift in Tripura

Agartala, Sep 14 (UNI) The top leaders of the BJP and IPFT is scheduled to sit for discussion over the ongoing trouble between two partners before BJP’s central leadership takes the call. The meeting will be chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma at night where tribal MLAs of BJP will attend besides, IPFT MLAs.
The BJP sources said that meeting is convened because IPFT has wished to discuss the matter. The Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has been pressurized by the legislators of his party to scrap the relation with IPFT following series violence perpetrated by IPFT cadres to press for their demands, as BJP is having 35 MLAs including 10 tribal legislators in 60 –members’ house.
The BJP national general secretary Ram Madhav is scheduled to arrive here on Sept 16 next to review the political situation of the state and address the rift between BJP and IPFT along with party’s northeast in-charge Ajoy Jambal, state in-charge Sunil Deodhar and Chairman of Northeast Democratic Alliance (NEDA) Himanta Biswa Sarma.
