States » North » DIEPosted at: May 20 2019 11:10PM BJP backer slain in MPChhatarpur, MP, May 20 (UNI) A person associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was gunned down on Monday outside his dwelling in this district headquarters, law enforcement authorities said. Mr Deepak Agnihotri – the son of Bajrang Nagar Colony-resident Rajesh Agnihotri – was targeted by three motorcycle-borne persons who first called the would-be victim outside. He was believed to be a supporter of Mr Arvind Pateriya who was the BJP candidate from Rajnagar in the 2018 Assembly elections. No arrest was executed until late evening.
