BJP asks Nitish to give land for airports

Patna, Nov 28 (UNI) BJP Rajyasabha MP Sushil Kumar Modi alleged that Nitish government of Bihar was not providing land for expansion of Bihta, Purnia and Darbhanga airports but was blaming the centre for non cooperation in construction of airport in Rajgir.
Modi said here on Monday that before raising the issue of airport in Rajgir, Nitish Kumar should provide land for Bihta, Darbhanga and Purnea airports expansion which could be completed within a year and would pave the way for development of Seemanchal region.
He said that Nitish Kumar on one hand was showing that he can construct airport in Rajgir and open medical college at his own whereas on the other he was also demanding a package of Rs 20000 crore from the centre.
