BJP and PM Modi trying to suppress & intimidate Dalits by targeting CM Channi: Verka

Chandigarh, Jan 20 (UNI) Senior Congress leader and Punjab cabinet minister Dr Raj Kumar Verka has criticized BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for misleading the residents of Punjab and for deliberately targeting State's first Dalit Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi by allowing Enforcement Directorate (ED) raid on his relatives.
While addressing the media at Punjab Congress Headquarter here, Verka stated that BJP and PM Modi are trying to suppress the Dalit community of the country through their cheap politics. Verka was accompanied by senior Congress leader Alka Lamba.
He said that ideology of BJP has always been anti-Dalit and therefore the Modi government is adopting such maneuvers to suppress and intimidate Dalits and people of Punjab.
