Birth anniversary of Bhausaheb Bandodkar observed

Panaji, Mar 12 (UNI) The 107th Birth Anniversary of the first Chief Minister of Goa Dayanand (Bhausaheb) Bandodkar was observed in the city on Monday.
Minister for Public Works Department (PWD) Ramkrishna Dhavalikar placed a wreath and paid homage to the great leader at the Bandodkar ‘Samadhi’ at Miramar.
MLA of Savordem and Chairman of Goa State Infrastructural Development Corporation (GSIDC) Deepak Pauskar, Chief Secretary Dharmendra Sharma, IAS, and family members of late Bandodkar were present on the occasion.
The dignitaries later garlanded the statue of late Bandodkar at the premise of Old Secretariat in the city.
In the precincts of the current Secretariat in Porvorim near the city, Mr Dhavalikar along with Minister for Urban Development Francis D’Souza and other dignitaries garlanded the statue of late Bandodkar and paid homage.
