Bill will be passed again to rectify objection flagged by Center about Sports University Rai: Khattar

Chandigarh, Mar 8 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that the objection flagged by the Center in respect of Sports University Rai will be rectified and it will be again sent back to the Union Government for approval.
Speaking in the House on Monday, the Chief Minister said that an Act was passed to upgrade Rai Sports School to the level of Sports University.
Renowned cricketer Kapil Dev was appointed as the Chancellor of Sports University. As it was sent to centre after being vetted by LR. Now there has been an objection about it, so this bill will be passed again and sent to the Union Government so that budding sports talent can be provided a better platform for honing their skills by ensuring best sports facilities in the state.
