Bikers loot Rs 2.50 lakh in broad daylight in capital

Ranchi, Sep 19 (UNI) Bike borne miscreants looted a sum of Rs 2.50 lakh from a man in broad daylight under Argora Police Station area of the state capital.
The victim Md Qasim a resident of Dhurwa had withdrawn the money from the ICICI branch located at Ashok Nagar for the marriage of his niece scheduled in October. The victim said that after taking out the money he had reached Argora Chowk and was waiting to catch another tempo to reach Dhurwa.
He said that as soon as he was getting inside another tempo when a couple of miscreants who were on a black coloured bike snatched the bag and fled from the spot. Upon receiving information a police team reached on the spot and inquired into the incident. It was also going through the CCTV footage installed at the chowk and nearby shops.
