Bike-borne man, female friend attacked with chemicals in Delhi

New Delhi, Jun 12 (UNI) A 24-year-old man and his 19-year-old female friend were attacked by an unknown person who hurled chemicals at the duo, while they were riding, the police said on Wednesday.
A case in this regard was registered at Vikaspuri Police station under appropriate sections, they said.
The incident took place on Tuesday, however the two refrained from informing the police initially.
The boy received 10 to 15 per cent burn injuries and was discharged from the hospital while the girl was given first aid as required.
The doctors opined that it to be some kind of chemical, however, nature of the chemical is yet to be identified. The actual fact will come after forensic reports, the police said.
The man used to work as a courier boy, but was at present was not working anywhere.
Further probe was underway, police said.
