New Delhi, Oct 28 (UNI) BJP on Wednesday filed a complaint to the Election Commission against a Twitter post of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, allegedly asking for votes, when the first phase of Bihar Assembly elections was going on.
In its complaint, the saffron party accused the Congress leader of asking for votes for the 'Mahagathbandhan' (grand alliance), through his tweet.
'Mr Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress Party, has issued a statement on twitter asking for votes in the first phase of election from voters today,' read the complaint.
