Bihar: Major reshuffle of IPS officers ahead of LS election

Patna, Feb 18 (UNI) Bihar government on Monday effected a major reshuffle of IPS officers by transferring 30 officers including seven superintendents of police (SPs) in run up to forthcoming Lok Sabha election.
According to a notification issued by state home department, police superintendents of Sitamarhi, Kaimur, SP (City-West), Patna, SP (City-Central) in addition to Police Superintendent (Traffic), Patna and police superintendent (economic offence unit) and police superintendent (rail) had been transferred. Police Superintendents of Bhojpur and Begusarai had been given additional charge.
