Bihar Foundation distributing ration packets in 48 relief centres in 12 cities

Patna, Apr 14 (UNI) On the directive of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Bihar Foundation distributed ration packets benefiting 6.11 lakhs people so far stuck in various places across the country in lockdown enforced to check further spread of Corona virus infection.
Bihar Foundation, thorough its machineries, is engaged in providing relief to people stuck in various locations. A total of 48 relief centres located in 12 cities are operating across the country.
People stuck in lockdown are being provided food and also ration packets for duration of 15 days. A total of 6.11 lakhs people have been benefited so gar.
A total of 2700 labourers are living in, 5 shelter centres in Maharashtra and one shelter centre in Tamil Nadu. Relief centres are spread over 12 cities including Mumbai, Nagpur, Kolkata, Delhi and Goa. Fund for providing relief to those stuck in lockdown, is being given from CM relief fund.
Chief Minister Mr Kumar also wished good health and bright future for 14 patients who were declared cured of Corona infection after treatment in various hospitals.
