Bihar fairy act passed in state assembly

Patna, March 28 (UNI) Bihar assembly passed Bihar ferry act 2023 (Bihar Nauka Ghat bandobasti avam prabandhan vidheyak 2023) during the post lunch sitting on Tuesday.
Briefing about the act, land reforms and revenue minister Alok Mehta said that the new act has been prepared for better management for ferrying boots.
He said under the new streamlined system the control would be with the Panchayati Raj institutions. Under the new act the load capacity along with the ferrying frequency of boots would be controlled, the minister informed.
