Police said an FIR had been lodged against the Congress MLA from Bikram Assembly constituency by Abhay Singh, father of the girl, who alleged that Mr Siddharth kidnapped his daughter with an intention to marry her. "On the basis of FIR, attempts are being made to contact the MLA and trace the girl," police said, adding that the case was being investigated.
