Bihar CM demands Centre to ban porn sites

Patna Dec 6 (UNI) Expressing concern over the crimes allegedly triggered by pornographic content, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today demanded the Centre to place blanket ban on such sites.
While continuing his “Jal-Jivan-Hariyaali” march , Mr Kumar said in Gopalganj that porn sites were affecting the mental condition of the youth in an adverse manner and should be banned immediately.
Mr Kumar said that he will be writing a letter to the Centre in this connection shortly.

COVID-19 cases on continuous rise in Meghalaya

Shillong, Jul 24 (UNI) The COVID-19 graph has been continuously on the rise in Meghalaya
with 693 new cases adding up to 4,708 active cases, five deaths raising the fatality figure to
1,014, even as 519 more recoveries from the viral infection surged the number of recovered
cases to 54,875 on Saturday in the State, which has registered 60,597 confirmed cases till
date.
