Patna, Jul 3 (UNI) Expressing deep sorrow over the death of eight people in separate lightning incidents at different places in Bihar, the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday announced compensation of Rs 4 lakh each to the kin of the deceased.
In his condolence message, Mr Kumar said that he was with the bereaved family in this hour of crisis. Directing the authorities to pay the ex-gratia, he also appealed to the people to take all precautions and remain cautious during the bad weather conditions.
He also appealed them to follow the instructions of the disaster management department for such situation.
