Bihar: Close NDA-GA battles in the offing in Jehanabad

Patna, Nov 8 (UNI) With the Grand Alliance going all out to defend all three seats and the NDA mounting a strong challenge, Jehanabad is poised for one of the most exciting contests in Bihar's second phase of polling scheduled on November 11.
All three constituencies in Jehanabad district - Jehanabad, Ghosi and Makhdumpur (SC) - presently held by the Grand Alliance, are expected to witness closely fought battles between the ruling NDA and the opposition alliance.
In Jehanabad constituency, the RJD has fielded former MP Jagdish Sharma's son and ex-MLA Rahul Sharma, who recently switched from JD(U) to RJD. The JD(U) has nominated former MP Chandreshwar Chandravanshi. In the 2020 elections, RJD's Suday Yadav defeated then Education Minister and JD(U) candidate Krishna Nandan Prasad Verma. A total of 11 candidates are in the fray this time.
