Gangtok, Feb 20(UNI) The annual Bhum Chu ceremony is scheduled to be held on March 1 and 2 next.
According to Ecclesiastical Affairs Department, the Bhum wang holy water from the container will be distributed on the March 2.
The preparation to open the holy vase is underway. The opening of the Holy Water container ,maintained at Tashding monastery, is a part of age old system of advance information on future environment condition,harvest and crops and water in rivers.
