Bhopal Singh swears-in as new Chairman of HSSC

Chandigarh, Mar 24 (UNI) Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar administered the oath of office to Mr Bhopal Singh as new Chairman of Haryana State Selection Commission (HSSC) at the swearing-in ceremony held at Haryana Niwas here on Wednesday.
Mr Bhopal Singh, who took oath of Allegiance, Post and Secrecy, pledged that while holding Commission's dignity he would ensure that transparent and merit-based selection remains his prime focus.
“The new Chairman and Members of the Commission are expected to carry out the recruitment process by making a suitable schedule in an appropriate manner and as per the requisition sent by the Government. Besides this, the new Chairman is also expected to uphold the dignity of the Commission by following merit-based and transparent recruitment process,” Mr Khattar said while interacting with the mediapersons after the ceremony.
