Bhiwandi Cong leader's killer traced in UP

Thane, Jun 24 (UNI) The killer of the Congress leader of the Bhiwandi Nizampur Municipal Corporation, Manoj Mhatre who was on the run for two years has been finally traced to Sultanpur district of UP the city, police said today.
The investigating officer and ACP Crime NT Kadam told this correspondent that the Bhiwandi police and the officials got a tip off that the accused Udayban alas Guddu Ramavat Singh, 43 was very much present in his house in the village Kareban of Jaisinghpur of Sultanpur district in UP.
Immediately upon getting the tip off a team of police officials from the Thane police including Sr PI Nitin Thakre, of the Crime Unit I with the help of their counter parts from UP, ACP PK Mishra, PI Anjani Tiwari, SI Gyanendra Rai nabbed the accused from his house in the early hours at about 4.00 a.m. on June 22, the police said.
