Bhartiya Baudh Sangh extends support govt over CAA

New Delhi, Jan 17 (UNI) Bhartiya Baudh Sangh (BBS) has extended its support to the Centre on the implementation of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
The organisation has handed over a letter of support to BJP Working President JP Nadda on the issue at a Dhamma Sammelan organised by the BBS to support the CAA here on Friday.
Mr Nadda, who was chief guest at the function, said that the Congress party was misleading the people over the issue.
He said earlier all leaders from Pandit Nehru to Indira Gandhi, were worried about the persecuted people and wanted citizenship to be given to them but now no leader had been left in Congress who could understand the act.
It's unfortunate that for Congress and Left parties vote bank comes first and country last, but for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country and its development was the highest priority, Mr Nadda said.
