BFUJ Journalists leader Ruhul Amin Gazi arrested in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Oct 21( UNI) Journalist leader of Bangladesh and chief reporter of Dainik Sangram Ruhul Amin Gazi has been arrested.
He was arrested from the Daily Sangram office in Maghbazar on Wednesday evening. Ruhul Amin Gazi is the president of a section of the Federal Union of Journalists.
Mohammad Harun Aur Rashid, deputy commissioner of Tejgaon division of the police, told UNI this evening that a case was filed against Gazi Ruhul Amin under the Digital Security Act and sedition charges. Ruhul Amin was arrested after an arrest warrant was issued in the case. Sangram editor Abul Asad has been arrested and is in jail in the same case.
