Best FIFA football awards 2025 winners to be announced in Doha on Dec 16

Zurich, Dec 14 (UNI) Winners of the tenth edition of the Best FIFA Football awards will be announced in Doha, Qatar on Tuesday, December 16 during a gala dinner, FIFA said today.
On the eve of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup Qatar 2025 final between Paris Saint-Germain and CR Flamengo at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, the world’s best players and coaches for 2025 will be revealed during the FIFA celebration at Fairmont Katara Hall in Doha.
Before that, the best fans, goalkeepers and goals will be announced in digital videos on FIFA platforms and across social media, along with the winner of the FIFA fair play award.

Manchester City signs Guehi amid defensive crisis

London, Jan 20 (UNI) Manchester City has confirmed the signing of Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi in a reported 20 million-pound (26.8 million U.S. dollars) deal to strengthen its defense after recent injury setbacks.
The club announced Monday the signing of Guehi on a five-and-a-half-year deal, through to the summer of 2031.
