BEST bus catches fire, all passengers safe

Mumbai, Jan 25 (UNI) All passengers on a BEST (The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply & Transport Undertaking) bus escaped unhurt after a fire suddenly broke out in it at S V Road in western suburb of Bandra on Wednesday.
The incident occurred in the afternoon at 1300 hours, and a fire engine along with water tanker were rushed to the spot to douse the fire, which was brought under control at 1330 hrs, sources in the fire bridge said.
All passengers were immediately evacuated from the bus, and they are safe, sources added.
