Bengali film Projapoti Biskut a nostalgia of North Kolkata culture release tomorrow

Kolkata, Sep 21 (UNI) Keeping in line to the nostalgia of North Kolkata culture, after Open Tee Bioscope director Anindya Chattopadhyay returns with a comedy of errors in the lives of a newly married couple in his next venture Projapoti Biskut which will release tomorrow.
Directed by Anindya Chatterjee and presented by Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy, 'Projapoti Biskut' is a film revolves around the custom of keeping Kartick idols in front of houses where married couples lives.
Projapoti in Bengali symbolizes love, marriage and togetherness and 'biskut' has the crispness, so these combine my story.
The film, which has a bunch of youngsters, will show how to keep love alive after marriage.
It's contemporary storytelling, realistic execution, and music is the film's USP.
The courtship period is generally covered by romance, but the film shows what happens post wedding.
The movie revolves around Antor and Shaon played by debutant Aditya and Ishaa Saha, a married couple who is trying to cope with their wishes and thier family and relative's expectations.
The things went craze when Antor's friends put an idol of Lord Kartik on their footstep! What happens next is the story all about.
After Open Tee Bioscope, this is Anindya’s second film.
“Many people thought that I was a one film wonder.
But I am back again with this film which is full of Bangaliana and with which people will be able to relate.
Despite many other films releasing during the Pujas, I think that people will love this film as this has various elements” said the director.
The film is produced by Windows and Ganpati Production.
“This is our fifteenth year in the film industry and this is our maiden venture in film production where we are not making the film.
However we believe in Anindya’ style of film making and hence we are assured that people will love it as much as our last film Posto” said Shiboprosad Mukherjee.
Aditya Sengupta who is making her debut with this film has the hope of becoming a director.
“I wanted to work in this film because I wanted to get the idea of making a film and also gather valuable experiences which will help me to learn.
I like Anindya Chatterjee’s style of film making and this has been a great learning experience for me” said the actor.
Aparajita Adhya, Shantilal Mukherjee, Rajatava Dutta, newcomers Aditya Sengupta, Ishaa Saha and Kheya Chattopadhyay will be seen in pivotal roles in the film.
The music of the film is by Shantanu Moitra.
Chandrani Banerjee sang her track from the film at the event.
