Bengali film 'Mayurakshi' premiered in Mumbai

Kolkata, Jan 6 (UNI) Most critically acclaimed Bengali film 'Mayurakshi', starring Prosenjit Chatterjee and Soumitra Chatterjee was premiered in Mumbai on Thursday.

There was the presence of film loving audience as they enjoyed every nuance of the acting of the stars. The film directed by Atanu Ghosh stars Indrani Halder, Sudiptaa Chakraborty and Gargee Roy Chowdhury in small but important roles.

Interestingly, 'Mayurakshi' was the last released Bengali film of 2017 now started reigning hearts of the national audience for its soul stirring and realistic narratives.

Prosenjit, who became the host of the premiere show has been praised a lot for his artistic sensitivity.

the context Prosenjit said, "It's very satisfactory that our master works are now going national. As we all know Mumbai always praised makers from Bengal, this time they are supporting Atanu Ghosh."

Interestingly, it's the time when another movie 'Amazon Obhijaan' have going national through its national release on Thursday.

The premiere turned into a star-studded evening with the presence of Prosenjit Chatterjee, Pallabi Chatterjee, Madhu Chopra, Onir, Anjum Rizvi, Sharbani Mukherji, Arjan Bajwa, Shweta Pandit, Anirudhh Roy Choudhury, Pradeep Sarkar and may others from B-Town.
