Bengal Police unearth underground arms factory in Hooghly

Chandannagar, Oct 12 (UNI) The West Bengal Police have busted an underground arms making factory and seized a cache of arms and weapons and arrested three suspects in this former French colony of the Hooghly district.
The sleuths following an input of trading of arms and weapons laid a trap on Thursday night near the bank of the Hooghly river and arrested two suspects, who led the police to the underground arms factory and arrest another suspect.
Police recovered 220, 7 mm bullets, 70, 8 mm cartridges, arms making tools and raw materials from the hideout.
