Kolkata, Jun 01 (UNI) Nursing excellence is like an ocean without a horizon and there is no place for complacency, and the Bengal Government is working on training nurses to become health officers at Suswasthya Centres across the state.
“To achieve the desired healthcare goals for Bengal, it is imperative that the public and private sectors work hand-in-hand,” Ms Chandrima Bhattacharya, Minister of State, Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal, said while addressing a gathering of 300 plus healthcare personnel at the 3rd Nursing Conclave, organised by CII, in Kolkata today.
Saluting the tireless work of nurses, Ms Bhattacharya said, ' There is pressing need for more nurses in the system, ' and reiterated that the fulcrum of the healthcare space is nursing.
