Bengal Govt ensures all-round development of women

Kolkata, Mar 08 (UNI) Since 2011, the West Bengal Government, led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, has stressed on the need for developing facilities and introducing schemes and programmes especially for women – be it in the areas of livelihood, health, social uplift, law enforcement or accommodation.
Bengal is number one in the country in terms of empowerment of women.
