Kolkata, Sep 21 (UNI) West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar today paid a visit to Jadavpur University Vice-Chancellor Suranjan Das and Pro-VC Pradip Ghosh, who are presently in the AMRI Hospital in Dhakuria.
The duo fell sick on Thursday afternoon at time when a section of ultra leftist students gheraoed Union Environment Minister Babul Supriyo for over five hours. They left the varsity campus for getting admission in the hospital amid chaos situation in the campus where the Governor had to intervene himself and rescued the beleaguered Union minster around 8.10 pm.
A Raj Bhawan communique today said that the governor spent time with the duo in the hospital and to enquire about their health and also conferred with the doctors on their condition.
