Believe in work, not in propaganda: CM Nitish

Patna, May 23 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Monday that he believe in work and not in propaganda.
While addressing the trainee officers of Indian Administrative Services Nitish Kumar said that the IAS officers play important role in execution of government policies.
He said that after coming to power on November 24 , 2005 he was working for overall development of Bihar and introduced schemes to improve health infrastructure, education and concentrated on controlling law and order. Nitish Kumar said that his government provided 50% reservation to the women in Panchayat and Civic body elections. Nitish Kumar also elaborated the success stories of Jeevika and said that more than 10 lakh Jeevika groups were constituted in the state following which the women folk were becoming self dependent. He also spoke in detail about bicycle and uniform scheme introduced for the girls.
