BEFI calls for massive dharna at Parliament on April 4 against privatization of banks

Hyderabad, Apr 1 (UNI) Opposing privatization of banks and demanding adequate recruitment in banks among others, Bank Employees Federation of India (BEFI) has given the call for a massive dharna in front of the Parliament in New Delhi on Tuesday.
In a release, BEFI -Telangana General Secretary P Venkatramaiah on Saturday appealed to all its members and retired bank employees to make the proposed massive dharna a grand success.
"Demanding, inter alia, adequate recruitment in banks, absorption of casual/temporary workers, scrapping NPS, defined pension to all, pension updation and better customer service, we also oppose privatization of banks, outsourcing, attack on co-operative banking sector and IPO in RRBs," the Federation said in a statement here.
