Bedi visits PWD office

Puducherry, Jan 23 (UNI) Puducherry Lt.Governor Kiran Bedi on Tuesday visited the Public Works Department (PWD) where a presentation was given highlighting the works carried out by the department and issues faced by it.

According of a release from Rajnivas, during the course of presentation, issues such as how to overcome fund constraints for various works, the fund gap ought to be bridged through the central funds such as PMKSY or climate change fund etc were discussed besides putting in human resource management system for efficient management of staffs on rolls and also for allocating staff for maintenance of roads,tanks and drains.
