BDA Sites distributed in Kempegowda Layout

Bengaluru, Sept 25 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and Deputy Chief Minister Dr G Parameshwara today distributed sites formed in Kempegowda Layout second stage to allottees of Bangalore Development Authority (BDA).
Later, talking to newsmen Dr Parameshwara said in all 4971 sites would be distributed of which 50 per cent subsidy would be given to 20 per cent of the sites allotted to economically backward people.
The BDA had spent Rs 2770 crores for developing the infrastructures. The General Category allottes would have to pay full amount within two months failing which 18 per cent interest would be levied and the rate of interest would be increased to 21 per cent if there was failure to pay amount even after that. Scheduled Castes allottees would be given three years time to make payment, he added.

Dehradun, Apr 19 (UNI) Uttarakhand has witnessed an average voter turnout of 24.83 per cent for five Lok Sabha seats till 11am on Friday,
Excluding the Nainital constituency, voting percentages in the other four constituencies have surpassed those of the 2019 elections within the same timeframe, which recorded 23.59 per cent turnout by Friday midday.
