Basketball Court to be constructed at Old Kangra: Munish Sharma

Kangra, Oct 30 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh State Basketball Association President Munish Sharma on Friday laid the foundation stone of the basketball court at the Messiah Ground, at Old Kangra which will be constructed at the cost of Rs 5 lakhs.
Munish Sharma said that this step has been taken to connect the youth with sports and keep them away of the drug menace. He expressed gratitude of the Chief Minister Jairam Thakur for providing funds for this project within a month. Munish Sharma, right hand man of the Chief Minister said that the state government has priority of developing Kangra on all fronts and works are being carried out in Kangra on the lines of Smart City Dharamshala.
Munish Sharma said that Rs 7 lakh will be spent on beautification of the ground of the Municipal Council Kangra. He said that due to the efforts of the Kangra Municipal Council, there was development carried
