Basic infrastructure development initiated at a cost of Rs 2628 Cr : EG Collector

Kakinada, Jan 26 (UNI) East Godavari Collector D Muralidhara Reddy has said that basic infrastructure development was initiated in various sectors in the district with an outlay of Rs 2,628 Crores during current year and the district was progressing all round.
Delivering the Republic Day ceremonial address, after unfurling the National Flag at the police parade grounds, here on Tuesday morning, Mr Reddy said that the district administration was implementing effectively the state government’s Navarathnalu programme with much dedication and commitment.
Under the basic infrastructure development, he said various works were taken up at a cost of Rs.1104 Crores through R&B department and Rs 1,016 Crores through Panchayat raj, Rs.25 Crores through rural water supply department.
